A Toronto housewife (Sheila McCarthy) crashes a party in Montréal. She is full of all the popular clichés about Montréal and Montrealers - Latin, unrestrained, full of "joie de vivre." She knows nobody and does not understand a word of French. This results in her frequently taking her expectations for realities, and results in some rather astonishing and amusing repartees.
